Stream the new Parquet Courts EP: Tally All The Things That You Broke

About a year ago, Fergus & Geronimo were in town. They were out of LPs, so they told me to buy this record from another band some of the guys were in: Parquet Courts. I felt awkward saying no, so I bought it. It became my favorite record of last year. It was all the things I want bands to sound like right now: a little bit snotty, a lot sincere, somehow nonchalant but with a sense of urgency, and straightforward enough to be stuck in your head for weeks. Parquet Courts can do no wrong by me.

Just yesterday I was thinking to myself "how much longer am I going to have to wait for a new Parquet Courts record?" Turns out I've been under a rock, because the new EP comes out in a week. I told myself I wouldn't spend any money on food this week (mysterious freezer and pantry items to take care of) but I didn't say anything about records. I ordered it the old fashioned way: without even listening first. Since I can't wait for it to arrive, listen along with me below, and order a copy of Tally All The Things That You Broke from What's Your Rupture.
