Outer Spaces played Athens this week. They stayed with us, so I was lucky to get a little extra catch-up time over the past two nights. I've always loved Cara Beth's voice and lyrics, and I've been a big fan of every project she's been a part of. Her new Creature of Nature EP came out this month on cassette on Friends Records. The live band could fit comfortably next to Speedy Ortiz on a bill, but the self-recorded EP takes on a more of a subdued and subtle tone.
