Eyed It or Tried It

Now that it's warm out, I don't know what to wear since I can't just throw on my most favorite hoodie from American Giant. Slate called it "the greatest hoodie every made," and I'm with them. Picture a favorite black hoodie: now imagine it in the highest quality possible. Detail stitching on the elbows, super soft inside, dense and warm outside, American made, oversized hood for maximum druid vibes, drawstring that isn't going to fray… it's perfect. Til next fall, magic hoodie. (Save 15% if you purchase anything through my link. I get a kickback, too. Everyone wins and we all feel snuggly.)

Been eying these. May just try to do similar designs in black polish over beige polish.
Maybe I'd take more care not to constantly lose phone chargers if I had a special one?

Birchbox sent me a sample bottle of this to try out. After using it a few times, my hair seemed more manageable, smoother, and less susceptible to summer frizz. Plus I've been on a mezcal kick lately, so I might as well go all out and have agave in my hair, right? The Birchbox website says this can also double as a body oil, and that it's " packed with plenty of other natural conditioning ingredients to keep hair soft and sleek: vanilla, coconut, and baobab seed oil, to name a few. And it’s free of the stuff that’s not so good for your locks: parabens, sulfates, and phthalates." (Retails at $40.) Thanks for having me try it, Birchbox!

My friend Ella Grace sent me these notebooks for my birthday along with dinosaur gummies. Nailed it. ($12.95 at Pendleton)

When you're an Army kid, you get things like colorful knives in your Easter basket. I almost always have a pocket knife on me, and this on and the smaller "chive" style are my current favorites.

The good folks and printing pros at Fallen Arrows sent me a care package of t-shirts. This Spirits and the Melchizedek Children tee is one of my favorites.

Sunglasses come and go from my possession so easily that I can't spend over $10 on them. Let's see how long I can keep these around. ($5.80 at Forever 21)

Another favorite birthday present: Lauren Gregg's Game of Thrones print. (Etsy, $17)

Eyed It or Tried It is my best effort to stay on top of throwing some love toward the gifted items I've enjoyed, and others I'd just like to spread the word about. Got something I should eye or try? Get in touch.
