Reads: Kinfolk, A Wrinkle In Time, Lucky Peach, Rookie, and Be Here Now

As soon as the temperature begins to drop, so does my will to go out at night. I can't think of many things I'd like to do more right now than curl up with a book and a blanket. Okay, maybe curl up with a book and a blanket in the mountains.

Below are a few books I've recently purchased, and a few more I'll be ordering soon.

Kinfolk
By: Various
Bought volume 5 as a birthday present for my roommate, and bought myself volume 4, which includes a guest appearance from a couple of my pals from Local Natives and their lovely ladies.

A Wrinkle In Time: The Graphic Novel
Story by Madeleine L'Engle, Illustrations by Hope Larson
I confess that I've never read A Wrinkle In Time, so my first time reading it will be in graphic novel form. I read my first graphic novel, Neil Gaiman's Sandman, last winter, after flying through his book Neverwhere in a few days.

Be Here Now

This is such a special book to return to over and over, so a house copy was in order.

Lucky Peach
By: David Chang
Enjoyable and approachable writing and photos on preparing and enjoying food.
